September 2012 Events in Gatlinburg
Autumn is one of the best times to enjoy the Smoky
Mountains. Celebrate fall during the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival where you’ll
be able to enjoy harvest-themed activities and displays throughout Gatlinburg,
Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, and Townsend.
September 27: Taste of Autumn
Support the United Way of Sevier County and sample food from
some of the finest restaurants in Gatlinburg. For a $25 donation you get
unlimited samples from participating vendors. There will be live entertainment
from 5-8pm. Taste of Autumn will be held at the Gatlinburg Convention Center.
September 28 –
November 4: Oktoberfest at Ober
Gatlinburg
Ober Gatlinburg will be celebrating October with
Bavarian-style food, beer, and music. The Bavarian Fun Makers Band will perform
traditional Bavarian folk dances, sing-a-longs, yodels and more with daily performances

September 29-30: Smoky Mountain Trout Tournament
The annual fall tournament is open to adults and children
with prizes for multiple categories. Registration is open
now and costs $25 or $40 for both days.
