Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival Celebrates Fall in Gatlinburg

Everything is falling into place for Gatlinburg’s annual Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival.  Fall decorations, old fashioned hay rides, special events, and entertainment and craft exhibits all come together to celebrate fall in the Smokies.  Plus, the spectacular fall foliage on display throughout the Smokies makes harvest season in Gatlinburg a perfect time to visit.

This year’s Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival is scheduled for September 13 through October 31, 2012.
During the Smoky Mountain Harvest Festival the Gatlinburg Craftsmen’s Fair is held. From October 11 through October 28 the Gatlinburg Convention Center is home to numerous award-winning artisans and craftsmen who are on-hand each day to demonstrate their skills, answer questions, and offer their unique art and wares for sale.
Storekeepers also get into the spirit of the season, lining their storefronts with festive fall decorations that turn Gatlinburg into an autumnal haven.
Be sure to reserve room at one of Gatlinburg’s hotels for easy access to all of the things to do in Gatlinburg as well as the Great Smoky Mountains National park.
