November 2012 Events in Gatlinburg
Millions of Christmas lights will illuminate Gatlinburg
along the Downtown Parkway and River Road nightly for four months.
November 7: Winter
Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff
The City of Gatlinburg hosts the 23rd annual Winter
Magic Kickoff & Chili Cookoff in downtown Gatlinburg from 5-8pm. Sample
chili from over 20 restaurants, groups, attractions, and agencies as they
compete for awards. An $8 wristband is required for chili samplings, available
at the event.
November 11: Veterans
Day Celebration
A free event honoring
veterans will be held on Ripley’s Aquarium Plaza at 2pm.
November 20-24:
Festival of Trees
The W.L. Mills Conference Center will be the site of this
annual holiday event. See dozens of decorated Christmas trees. Proceeds go to
Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries.
November 21-25: Great
Smoky Thanksgiving Arts & Crafts Show
Do your Christmas shopping during the annual Thanksgiving
craft show at the Gatlinburg Convention Center. Doors open at 10am and
admission is free.
November 23 – December 22:
Winter Magic Tunes & Tales
Every Friday and Saturday night you can enjoy free
entertainment on the Parkway. Carolers will stroll the Parkway in downtown
Gatlinburg from 5-9pm.
November 26 – December 2:
Great Smoky Christmas Arts & Crafts Show
The annual Christmas crafts show will be held at the
Gatlinburg Convention Center. Shop unique, handcrafted gifts by members of the
Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community.
