Gatlinburg Veterans Day Celebration Salutes the Armed Forces

Join Gatlinburg, Tennessee in saluting our nation’s veterans during a Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 11, 2013.   The City of Gatlinburg will extend a heartfelt “Thank You!” to the men and women who put service before self at the Gatlinburg Veterans Day Celebration.  The free admission event will be held on the Plaza at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies from 11am – 2pm.

As an official Regional Site for the Observance of Veterans Day, the Gatlinburg Veterans Day Celebration is affiliated with the events scheduled at the National Veterans Day Observance at Arlington National Cemetery. Activities during the Veteran’s Day Celebration include recognition of veterans, patriotic music, a military flyover and a remembrance of fallen comrades, among several others.

Show your appreciation and remember those who made our freedom possible by attending the Gatlinburg Veteran’s Day Celebration.
